Counselling Psychologist, Couple and Family Therapist in Training
I am a consulting psychologist (specializing in crisis management), a children's drama tutor, MBT-A therapist, and a couple and family therapist in training.
At the beginning of my career, I worked at the Bátor Tábor Foundation, where we helped chronically ill children and their families. During my years there, a systemic approach became extremely important to me, which led me to pursue a career in family therapy. I have remained in contact with Bátor Tábor ever since, and for several years I have been a grief counselor at Lélekmadár Tábor, where we help families who have lost a child.
Working with children has been an integral part of my life since the beginning, and I have been running child psychodrama groups for more than 10 years. I am always amazed at how important issues surface and are played out in spontaneously invented stories, and how children heal themselves. I am currently an active member of the board of the Kende Hanna Child Psychodrama Association.
I was filled with similar enthusiasm when I learned the basics of mentalization. I felt that this method and approach was what connected my previous training and the theories I had learned over the years, it provided an attitude that was very close to my heart: supportive attention and curiosity, shared thinking, the opportunity to express and experience feelings, and a sustaining emotional connection. This is the connection and attitude that offers the same to children and adults alike.
During my career, I have worked in a variety of systems and communities: I worked as a school psychologist for several years, and I am currently the professional director of a prevention center where we provide comprehensive and free services to families from pregnancy through adolescence.
