Psychologist, complex integrative therapist in training, grief counsellor, mediator
In a metaphorical sense, a psychological process is often like making a painting. As a facilitator, I stand beside the client, supporting him with my attention, presence, and various tools, while he gradually creates his own painting by unifying his brush strokes and use of colour. I work in a salutogenetic model, which means that I see the adult clients who come to me as healthy people, capable of personal development, of spiritual flourishing, of finding their own resources, while also turning to their psychological blockages, pains and difficult feelings with the necessary sensitivity and acceptance. The last ten years of human and work experience in different sectors, eight years of university training and the methods I have used alongside them, as well as losses, pains or relationship developments in my private life, have contributed a lot to my self-awareness and thus to the development of my professional personality. As a professional, I support and accompany my clients on their own spiritual journey in an atmosphere of trust and direct work. I use and blend the tools I apply, along the psychological theme in question:
- Self-awareness, personality development: understanding general personality functioning, bolstering self-esteem, increasing self-confidence for a balanced everyday life.
- Family, relationship difficulties: family, relationship self-awareness and conflict resolution; psychological communication development for smoother family, relationship functioning; models and practices for emotional closeness, intimacy.
- Psychological autonomy, setting self-boundaries: understanding self-subordination and helping cliebnts reduce unhealthy levels of this attitude, setting and maintaining individual self-boundaries in social relationships where appropriate.
- Stress management and burnout: assessing psychological tension and burnout levels, relieving psychological stress by becoming aware of current stressors, understanding our stress reactions, discussing coping strategies, and practicing stress release techniques.
- Bereavement and loss processing: grief counselling and supportive accompaniment to deal with a variety of losses, including: death, divorce, break-up, job lay-off/leave, retirement, empty nest, moving.
- Work psychology counselling: multi-faceted workplace personality development, leadership support and people management difficulties, addressing demotivation, dissatisfaction, workplace boredom.
- Career and career choice: career counselling, learning about the personality type related to career and career choice, learning about past socialisation patterns (family, school) that influence career choice, using simulation exercises for successful job interviews.
