On a social level, we are surrounded by sex. Yet individually it is very difficult to talk about. It can cause frustration, shame, depression and relationship breakdown if we cannot communicate openly about it. Psychological counselling provides an opportunity to talk about sex in a non-judgmental environment.

What issues might arise? Negative feelings or experiences about sex, sexual difficulties, sexual orientation, lack of interest in sex, sex addiction, relationship problems and sexual abuse. We may experience sexual difficulties at any time in our lives, not just in our teens or early adulthood.
